We opened the doors for Wine I Like, a Made of Tomorrow × Blind evening at Summerhill Base in Tauranga. Six wines, a long table and plenty of people ready to compare notes.

Six pours, your own opinion

The line-up included Zonzo Zoncello Limoncello, NV Lucien Albrecht Crémant, 2022 Save Our Souls Vermentino, 2025 Unico Zelo Pink Zinc, 22 Grasshopper Rock Pinot Noir and 2024 La Boca Malbec.

Each place held a Wine I Like journal. Pages filled with tasting notes, ratings, sketches and honest reactions. The idea was to remember what you liked in your own words.

Good company

Palace burgers and shared plates kept everyone going between pours. The wine brought people into the room; the conversations made the night.
